Young Men & Mental Health

In this episode, I interview Max Lestage, a master's level Youth Development Counselor for the state of Pennsylvania. Max takes us on his journey from growing up in the Bronx, NY to his well-rounded experiences in mental health in a small city in PA. Max has worked with men on probation and parole, adolescents in a group home setting, clients in a drug & alcohol rehab facility and now, aducidated young men in a state residential program. Max talked about his own struggles with depression and anxiety, as well as his coping skills that he shares with the young men he currently works with. We conclude with what people going into the field need to know.
