The Psychological Management of Chronic Pain
In this episode, I interview Nessren Ali about how she coaches people to psychologically manage their chronic pain. She works in a physical therapy office and has found that the patients who take advantage of her coaching services have a better outcome than those who don't. She uses analogies to help people understand that they don't have to become friends with their pain, nor do they need to make it the enemy. She speaks about the biopsychosocial model of pain management and the importance of educating patients about their pain process. If you, or someone you love suffers from chronic pain, listen in to this episode. If you would like to talk with Nessren or engage her services, you can send an email to me at info [at] olverinternational [dot] com and I will connect you with Nessren.
