Abusive Relationships

In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing coach, relationship expert, podcaster, blogger and speaker Nigel Beckles who shared some information from his new book being published in May. Nigel knows first hand the challenges of being in an abusive relationship but he was destined to break, not repeat, the cycle. He researched, studied, did a lot of introspection and therapy and now, he works to educate and bring hope to others. In this interview, Nigel talks about how to know you're dealing with a narcissist, the type of person who might be lured into an abusive relationship, how to grow yourself so you won't and what to do if you want to get out. He rounds things out with some red flags for men and women alike, to watch for in potential partners. Nigel is the admin for the popular Facebook page, Reflections On Abusive Relationships (ROAR) Support Group, with over 20,000 members. His first book is available on Amazon and his new book about abusive relationships will be out in May, 2023. If you are looking to reach out to Nigel, please do so through his website, https://authornigelbeckles.com.
