Managing Challenging Supervision Situations in a University Setting
In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. Patricia Robey, Full Professor in Psychology and Counseling at Governors State University in Illinois. In this conversation Dr. Robey talks about the values, beliefs and practices she considers as she plans for a new academic year. She discusses how she fosters an interest in learning for her students who may be resistant to taking certain required courses. She also shares her process for working with students who may be struggling academically. Pat shares her joy of being back in the classroom again and a choice she made that had a significant positive impact on her life. If you would like to reach out to Dr. Robey, you may do so through me at kim@olverinterntional.com.
