ReEntry+ Part 1

In this episode, I have the opportunity to interview my colleague and friend, Tony Lamar2. Tony is the Visionary Architect for Reintegration and Mental Freedom® who has overcome systemic barriers to inspire others to reclaim their strength and potential. With years of lived experience and professional leadership, Tony has shaped criminal justice reform in Georgia, influenced initiatives nationwide, and dedicated his life to helping those impacted by incarceration redefine reintegration. In part 1 of this episode, we discuss Tony's inspiration for creating ReEntry Plus, the difference between Reentry and Reintegration, and why reintegration is crucial to the initial reentry process. Tony also underscores the difference between a journey and becoming. Next week we'll conclude this topic by explaining how Mental Freedom is a cornerstone of Reentry Plus. Tony will share his ReZilient Builders Network and its role in supporting justice-involved and justice-impacted individuals. The interview will conclude with Tony's takeaway message. Finally, you can register for the Relationship Recharge Zoom retreat here
