Listening for the Period

In this episode, I had the pleasure of interviewing my friend and fellow Yellow Ribbon speaker, Sporty King. Sporty and I have been working together since 2011 and enjoying every minute of it. He shares an acronym that Sporty calls an "act-ronym" for the word Life, that begins the title of my podcast. We spent the majority of the time talking about how important listening is to relationships. I have been known to call it listening for understanding, while Sporty calls it listening for the period. He also speaks of an internal conflict he had working for the military without ever serving in the Armed Forces and how he resolved that conflict. Finally, Sporty shares a choice he made that had a significant, positive impact on his life. If you'd like to reach out to Sporty, you can do so through his website at www.SportyKing.com
